Vixie (cont.)

I started to walk back to my room, but stopped.
“No, tell me what I can’t know.” My parents looked at each other. I could tell they were thinking about it.
“Vixie, get your jacket and meet me in the garage.” Said my dad. So I got my jacket and put on my shoes. It was kind of cold outside.
Once I was at the garage, I started feeling excited. I walked inside to find my dad standing in the middle of the cold concrete floor. He took a remote out of his pocket, and pushed a button. Everything started to spin… literally. The walls spun around revealing screens, weapons, buttons, and some machines. To this day, my favorite machine is the one that makes fake IDs and passports. Anyways, I walked around looking at all the cool stuff. Then I got to a dusty bookshelf. I pulled out a book that had the title The Life of a CoveOps Agent.
“Now that book you are holding, is the simplest way to describe what me and your mother do for work.”
“You guy are spies!” I was so astonished. Questions immediately filled my brain. “Can you do karate? Do you see the world? How long is an average mission?”
“Vixie, settle down”
“Is there even more cool gadgets?”
“Vixie!”
“Will I be a spy too?” that question made him look at me concerned. Then he looked at me and said, “If you think you can handle it.” He smiled. I smiled. Then we laughed,  and went inside.
